Graduate Diploma - Research Project
The Graduate Diploma – Research Project (GD) is completed within 1-2 years full-time study. It is primarily undertaken as a supervised course of original research, with the depth of the research required for a Graduate Diploma degree similar to that required for an Honours Dissertation.
The Graduate Diploma – Research Project (GD) degree is a course that is aimed at the early research development of Indigenous people (the student), with particular emphasis on applying research methodology appropriate to the field of study to enhance and develop Indigenous Knowledge that will advantage Indigenous peoples, communities and the Indigenous education academy.
It is intended to provide Indigenous students with the opportunity to develop their own research at an early, but advanced stage, enhance their skills of researching and recording Indigenous knowledge, and their ability to develop and present solutions from an Indigenous epistemological base in the conduct of their research.
